Hey,
Woke up this morning, came down to feed my fish as usual, guppies were in a frenzy at the top waiting for food, and i noticed one of my blue guppies tail has completely split right down the middle into two!

He looks completely normal, swimming absolutely fine, otherwise the tail doesn't look ragged and there is no redness in the tail, should this be something i should be worried about, or should i just get used to calling that guppy "tails"?

Water stats:
Ammonia : 0
Nitrite : 0
Nitrate : Run out of liquid test kit!

Temp : a peachy 75-76 degrees F

thanks for the help, Paul

to be honest i use to get theis with guppies with big tails and it was nothing to worry about it fixed itself with gd water quality

here is what i have in the tank:

| 20 Gal | 1 Pearl Gourami | 6 Guppies | 5 Harlequin Rasboras | 5 Cherry Shrimp |

The guppy's have the occasional arguments, but on the whole they get on very well, the water quality should be excellent, i do a 20% water change every 3-4 days, i know may be a bit excessive, but i have the time at the moment, and the fish seem to enjoy it! I cant find anything sharp in the tank that might have caused the damage, my only thought is it may have been done when they rest on the gravel in the evenings

on a side note, the shrimp you sold me are coming along excellent in the new tank i bought for them!
