I have a guppy that has scales turning white across his back from his dorsal fin to tail and a little at his head. It's not ich and it's not saddle shaped or fuzzy. He does not act oddly or swim differantly than before I noticed it. I noticed it after a water change. The water was fine before the change-2 week wc- Stats-NH-0, NO2-0, NO3-20, pH-7.2, Temp- 82F. I use declor @ wc so no chlorine. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Columanris dosn't always have to be fluffy, it can show itself in so many ways.
Bleaching bemeath the skin, white edging around the scales, cotton wool, strands of cotton, greyish spots with a red edging, greyish white patches.

Is the fish showing any of these signs.
Flicking and rubbing.
Excess mucas,
Darting or erratic swimming.
Laboured breathing or gasping.
Is the skin peeling away.
Any sores or red streaking on the fish body or fins.

Wilder, I don't see any other symptoms you mentioned. I've been watching him pretty close so, so far so good. I'm starting to think it's just his coloring. I just haven't seen this on any of my others. The scales are white but not peeling or any redness.

Thanks.

Is it possible to load a pic up to take a look at the guppy.

I wish I had a camera worth 2 cents to be able to take a picture of a fish. I've tried to in the past without much luck.

Thanks.

Ok.
If any changes get back to the board.
Good Luck.
