Hey everyone, I have an issue I wanted to get your opinions on. Let me give you tank stats first. 10 US gal, temp 82 degrees, pH 8, amm. 0, nitrites 0.25, and nitrates 20. Tankmates are 3 female guppies (plus the one in question), 1 male and two spotted cories. Also, 10 guppy fry (2 days old) in breeder net. Female is gravid and had been hanging around the top for the last day or two and I assumed she was getting ready to have her fry. When I came home tonight she is lying on the bottom, will swim only when disturbed then right back to the bottom. No visible sign of a problem, except where gravid spot was is now a tiny spot of bright red. I cannot isolate her at the moment as another batch of fry is occupying my 5 gal. tank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The nitrites are too high (anything over 0 is too high). Water changes should help.

Did you cycle your tank?

The temp probably doesn't need to be that high, either.
