Hi every,

Now one of my guppies is tilting slightly to the side when he's not swimming and when he is. Sorry, I do not have my water readings off hand. I figured this is a common ailment and am looking for a general idea of what is going on. He's my fourth guppy (out of five - the fifth still alive, but not eating much).

I didn't realize that the store I purchased them and my previous ones sells sick fish (another pet store reluctantly admitted that she's heard about that store selling diseased fish) and I do not plan to have any more guppies because of the struggles I've had with them (including camallanus). This was my first tank and has been a PITA. :(

Thanks.

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats would be good.
What do you feed the fish.

It could be many things from constipation, bad water quality, bacterial, swim bladder, internal parasites.

What does it look like when he goes to the toilet.
Does he look bloated or thin.
Is his anus enlarged or red and inflamed.

I've had no look with guppys either and stopped buying them.

He's only slightly bloated, but from what I've seen in pictures, it's not super bad. I haven't fed him today nor plan to tomorrow to see if that helps. His anus is fine so far, but I guess he probably has parasites like his tank buds have had.

What med did you use for camallanous worms.
