Guppy & Swordtail

Okay I know I should probably know this but I want to be sure. Is it okay for male or female guppies to be with a male and female swordtail? If any one could let me know that would be great!!!!

i'd be cautious about it at first because my swords were okay with the guppies then as they got bigger they liked to nip their pretty fins... so just watch them to see.
