Hi all one of my guppies is swimming upside down leads me to believe its swim bladder disease

is there any way i can treat it or will it fix itself in a few days?

If it is swim bladder related that's often caused by constipation. Try feeding de-shelled pea as that will help remove any possible blockage. You need to boil the pea for a minute or two to be able to release the pea from the shell.

As it's upside down it may be impossible to feed it so a quicker method is to put it in an Epsom Salts bath. Just under a teaspoon of salts per litre of tank water in a separate container and leave him in for about fifteen to twenty minutes. If he shows signs of stress then remove him early. This often unblocks the fish immediately.

Have you tested your water - you know guppies seem to have this reputation of being really hardy but i find them really sensitive think it may be something to do with the excessive inbreeding - i lost 3 that i got the other week was prefect was a bit of a mystery

yeah iv tested the water and its fine, the guppys have been in this tank for a good few months now and there hasnt been anything added (fish, plants etc), water changes every week, they have been eating as normal and never had a problem for months until now just seems strange to me that it came out of no where.
