Hi Guys,
I'm looking for some help from experts who know the difference between cobras, snakeskins , grass and lace marking to ID my gold male seen in the picture below

I have been keeping guppies for years and let them breed randomlY. Nowadays I'm trying to create some fancy ones from my guppies and hoping to use this male with a blond female! Any thoughts of what his markings are?

Cheers Jane x

There is a possibility that has has elements of the double swordtail as he was produced in a tank with no breeding selection. This tank has double swordtails and delta, also I don't know who his parents are from the several possibilities.

the guppy in youre pic looks like a snakeskin to me
(though i've never heard of a cobra, grass or lace)

Yeah I was thinking he was a snake skin but it's the fine dots at the end of his tail that makes me think he's might have mutations of the grass in him!

Don't quote me but I think snake skins are more lines than dots, cobras are more dot like than snakeskins and grass is very fine dots from reading sources and I have heard of lace but no idea what they look like  !
