i am getting ready to get a tANk with 6 guppys. what is a good tank for that any recommendation? i dont want to spend more than $50 u.s. dollars.

Is it all males or males and females? If it's mixed sexes, I'd suggest you figure out a plan for fry first, because you definitely will have some and you can quickly get overrun. :)

im gonna have 1 male for every 2 female. and the fish store will take all fry they said. :nod: B)
 
Okay. Then I'd go with a 15-20g. You could get some Cories or something similar for the bottom if you wanted too with that size tank. :)

If you want a cheaper tank, check out classifieds. I've seen a lot of tanks there. If you are in the US, Craigslist is a big one.

Yes, it'd work for them. I wouldn't go for the second trio though, simply because of limited space for the females to escape the males and the stress factor.
