One of my pregnant female guppies is not a happy. She seems to be upright in the tank head up tail down it seems to be haning aroung the intake alot.

Physicaly she looks ok, no redness on the gills or anything that would indicate a problem just not swimming right.

Bit of info we bought new tank Tuesday 200l fulval roma used sponges form existing filter added amonia it was processed in 12 hours added again processed in 12 hours again sorted waater etc and added some of the fish out of our other tank but not all so filter only has a smaller load on it.

All other platys and guppies are happy levels are A=0 N=0 N=5.

thanks in advance

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed your fish.
How old is the fish.
Once fish tail stand they never seem to make it.

fish fed flake and frozen brine shrimp

fish is about 2 months
in tank is pleco 2 male guppies 4 females 2 femail platys 1 male platy so no where near stocked

I would feed your fish more variety in frozen foods and veg, daphnia good as it digests the fish food.
Peas are good also they keep the fish going to the toilet.
How is the fish now.

I've put her in the breeder net as the other fish were crowding her I put some peas in with her and she seems to have straightend out a bit.

she does eat cucumber and stuff I put in for the pleco but I have run out.

I'm keeping a eye on her but I'm hoping she will last long enough for the fry I'd hate to lose them both I'm thinking the preasure might of damaged her swim bladder.

She pregnant, yes if the fry press on the swim bladder it can make them swim oddly.
Peas you just cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers into small peices, and add to the tank.
