I have 2 month old guppy fry I got one female already getting a little color. I know theyre too big to get eaten but will they be killed by the other larger guppys for sport?
Ive got 6 two month old fry in a breeding net now in a 10gal. With all the adult guppies in the rest of the tank.
In the last week i have had another drop of about 8 baby gups, and all have survived all of the adults. The adults hardley pay no attention to the babies at all.
The only reason im not putting the 2 month olds in now is cause i want to make sure their getting enough food. The adults are pigs!
To answer yur question, no yur adults shouldnt kill yur babies for sport. At least i dont think mine would. Their not that evil
When I had guppies I used to keep some fry in the main tank and the bigger guppies paid them no attention. The little ones used to eat with the bigger guppies too
I put them in the other day and they were being chased by the big mom guppies but a day or two after everything calmed down they still get the occasionly chase but theyre not getting chewed on or anything so I geuss that's good. Plus every female in that tank looks like they're about to drop 100babies,they're huge!!
