About how large are guppy fry? Can they be fed to other fish as a live food? How about to fish fry? (say betta fry about a month old)

my initial recation is that it seems so cruel, but to answer your question, they are very small when first born and normally hang about the rocks hardly moving. at this stage they are vunerable and frequently get eaten by larger fish, however i cannot reccomend that you use them as a pimary food source for your larger fry. as i have never heard or read a recommendation to fo so from anyone in the fish trade, also there are purposefuuly produced products to feed young fry which may offer more balanced nutrition such as liquifry and first bites.

Thanks.
I know there are commercial foods out there but i only feed my fish and fry live foods. BBS and Microworms are good but i rather the fry have something tougher to chase after, i believe it hightens the fishes' reaction time and development. Guppie fry are expendable in my opinion, and many hobbiest and show breeders use guppy fry as the primary food source for their fish, someone else on here does also if i read correctly. I was just wondering if it was possible to feed them to Betta fry.

I would just try it
if the betta fry don't eat it, you got yourself a new guppy fry tank :)
