Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, I've got a few questions, though. So I presently have five two month old guppy fry housed in a 1.5 gallon tank. The biggest one is currently about a centimeter long. Is this an okay size? I was keeping them in a small breeder trap in my tank for about a month before we got the new little tank that they're in right now. Also, do you guys think that it would be okay to move them into my ten gallon community tank and have them not get eaten? Thank you for any answers!

If you think the fry are bigger than your older fish's mouths, then yes, you can move them.

If you want them to grow, you must do lots and lots of water changes. Livebearer fry produce a hormone that stops them growing, once it reaches a certain concentration, and that will happen very quickly in a tank that small. 50% daily wouldn't be too much.

Okay, thank you so much!:) I will start doing more water changes and see if that helps. I think I'll wait until they get a little bigger to release them into the larger tank.
