Guppy Fry

Guppy had fry on Hogmanay how long before theyre colours appear and they can be sexed?
Would female guppies be ok with male fighter??

IME guppies, either sex, are fine with Betta splendens. It will be at least 4 weeks before you can sex guppies, and at that age you will be relying on deciding sex based on color only. It could take at least 2 months to be able to sex a guppy based on gonopodium development.

cheers, i wanted to keep this batch so some would go in the community tank but some of the young would need to go in the betta tank till i could get a bigger community tank which could unfortunatly be nearer the end of the year. I reckon itl be about 2month before there big enough to release anyway so should know how much i have of what sexs.
