Guppy Fry

Yesterday morning i notice i have guppy fry. Three i managed to catch and put in a hatchery but one is still hiding. Have i done right? also what soul di be feeding them? And when can they be released back into the tank?

i have fed my guppy fry very finely crushed flake food, or you can buy special fry food liqifry i think its called. Don't release the babys until they are big enough not to fit in the other fishes mouths, however keeping them in a small area for too long is likely to stunt their growth.

how big is big enough?

i release the fry once they are big enough to not fit into the largest fish's mouth (pleco included)

It's best if you have smaller fish and can let the fry out when they are too big to fit in the biggest fish's mouth, but you can't keep them in the breeder net/trap for more then a couple weeks, otherwise you run the risk of stunting. This is why we love fry tanks.
