I have 10 L tank with 3 guppies one male and two females. The sick guppy is the pregnant one, here are some symptoms she's having.

- Heavy breathing
- Gasping
- Reddish gills
- (pregnant)
- antisocial
- aggressiveness
- Not really hungry

- Now she's having troubles swimming!!!! Her tail is getting to heavy it's like she's falling vertically down. These are early stages of a bladder disorder.

I had an older guppy who died the next day having those symptoms!

I trying to treat her by:

- doing a 70 - 80 % water change to rule out chemical issues. Ammonia, nitrates etc.
- I'm starving the tank for 2 days and feeding them crushed cooked peas.
- Added salt to the aquarium

Her symptoms are getting worse and i don't know what else i should do???

PH 7,5
Amm. 0
NO2 0
No3 0

How old is the tank - how long ago was it set up, how did you cycle the filter, how long ago did you add the fish?

A nitrate reading of 0ppm isn't usual - what type of test kit are you using, is the tank very heavily planted?

Your fish symptoms of gasping/red gills seem to point to ammonia/nitrite poisoning to be honest.

This indicates to me that perhaps your tank has not been cycled yet.

The lock man is asking good questions and we do need further information before we can advise further.

Starting with water parameters, ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate

And do tell us what kind of test kit you are using if you have one, liquid or paper dip strip test?

Do you do daily/weekly water changes? clean filter? if so, what is your normal routine.

If you could answer both the lock man and my questions then we'll start to get somewhere and advise accordingly.
No such thing as too much information IMO, the more, the better.

The tank is one years old so yes it is cycled. I have always have had guppies in the tank but the guppies that i'm talking about are new i have had them for 2 weeks. ( i gave the the old ones away)
There were an Ick infestation in the tank a week ago so i put some salt in the tank and raised the temperature. The plants started to root and the ammonia level increased at the same time. So yesterday i removed some of the rooting plants and did a big water change, that's why the ammonia level is almost 0 now.
I do not wash the sand or the filter to not kill the good bacteria. I use paper dip strips tests. And i do a smaller water change every 3 days.
So i think that she was ammonia poisoned but why aren't the other fishes sick? Let's say that she was ammonia poisoned how do i help her now help she's is dying and i don't want to lose her!

What's the temperature now, did you ever lower it? The warmer the water the less oxygen. I don't know if that'd be making their gills red though so imagine Ch4rlie is right about the poisoning.
I'm sorry I can't really be of any help but thought you should know..this is way too small of a tank to be keeping 3 guppies in, imagine some of the aggressiveness could be linked to being cramped?

Hmm, ok, begining to wonder if it is ammonia/nitrite poisoning at all since just the one guppy showing these symptoms.

You say this guppy is pregnant, wonder if fry are stuck or dead inside her and she cannot birth them....

This would better explain her gasping, isolation and red gills better than ammonia/nitrite poisoning.....

Guys, guys!!! There is a white string hanging out of her bottom. It may not be ammonia after all but some sort of parasite! What do i do now?!!!

Anyone?

She is now starting to move around and hang with the other guppies, but there is still the heaviness on her tail which makes the swimming more difficult.
There is another issue which is bothering me, the fact that she's not eating. Will it have some effect on her pregnancy? This is the third day that she hasn't eaten anything and I'm afraid that she will die because of this. should I force feed her? but that will stress her too much i guess, help please!
