guppy.. dead

went to do a water change in my second tank today and found my female guppy dead.
she was layed on the bottom, and all her body was like puffed up and scales sticking out abit like a cone.
does that sound like dropsy?

i took her out as soon as i found her but i still have
1 guppy
6 neons

they all look healthy enough at the mo. r they likely to catch it too??

please help

Sorry about your guppy. It sounds exactly like dropsy. this condition is generally not contagious but there may have been an underlying disease that caused the condition. So keep an eye on the remaining fish to see if they show any signs of disease. HTH
