Guppy Changing Colors

So I have this guppy that changes colors. He has a kind of shiny green/yellow tail that is very pretty. But he changes it to green/yellow with black spot to completly black. I raised this guppy from a fry. I so far have 2 guppys like this. I know they change colors because if you stare at him for a while you can see him change colors in front of you. By the way its a male. Does anyone ever heard of this.

Yeah, my guppies change their color if they're trying to mate or if they get scared.

yeah i do notice if they are mating they get bright colours.

He is not stressed out. When they are stress out they become pale in color. This is quit different, he just changes from one color to another.

I might think that this might be a type of guppy. I have hear(might be a myth) something about the guppy spectrum and how some guppies have the ability to change colors. I think this is something worth talking about when anastasia said about participating in weekly topics or something like that
