Guppy Breeding Container

Got one of those hagen 3 in 1 containers for my guppy and just put her in it, It seems small just enough room to turn around really lol and there is a lid to put on the top of the thing so she cannot escape, so how does the fish get air, does it just get it from the water or does she need to go to the surface?

imo its wise not to put her in such a small trap, but certainly dont put the lid on it.

I hope a container that the fish has trouble turning around in is just a cage in a larger container. If so, the water moving through the cage will keep the water oxygenated. Water gets its oxygen by having oxygen get into the water at the surface and most of the tank's water surface should still be open to the air.

yea its floating around in my main tank getting pushed with the flow, I will leave her in tonite and take her out tomorow if there aint no babies
