Ok first of all, we need some more info from you. What are your water stats (ammonia, ntirite, nitrate and pH)? How big is the tank, what fish are in it? Is there any sharp decorations? And where are you from to help in recomending meds?

My guess is it is a bacterial infection, but those things are important to check out.

i have a 10 gallon tank. i have 5 guppies and 2 albino catfish and i do have one sharp plant. im from new york
