Guppy Birth last night!!

Hi, My guppy gave birth to fry (so far 2) and i panicked and put her in my breeding trap. Is it most likely she will drop another batch or do you think she's done? O yeah! I have one more question, after the female has given birth will the gravid spot (dark spot by anal cavity) disappear or will it stick around.

yes and no...in my situations I have had some that lose the gravid spot all together after giving birth, then I have some that is still has a gravid spot, then 2 weeks later had another batch...

After my guppy's birth, she almost completely lost her gravid spot and it seemed as if she wasn't pregnant any more. Then about a week later, it came back. She's still pregnant

my 2 females look pregnant still but ive had 4 fry, am leaving them 2 havfe more b4 i do anything!

i have 13 guppie fry and have had them for about a week how long until they get there colour or grow up?

Some of my guppy /endlers have colour after one week in their caudal fin-it all depends how colourful the parents are i spose! The females fry could be pregnant after 6 to 8 week i reckon by my experience.

On all fish the darkest colour on fry always show first. My guppy fry get black tails a few days after they are born.
