Hi everyone,
we have guppies in our fish tank at work and one of our pregger females has had 3 fry and about a dozen egg babies (stress maybe??) but now she still has a dark gravid spot and she is still quite plump. Does anyone have any idea if Guppies can have a few babies at a time? or if this was stress induced and she had them early will she have the rest later? or is she most likely done?
She is in a breeding tank still, her 3 fry are flourishing and are stearing clear of her under the grate, they are about 3 days old now and she hasn't had any more. Should we just release her into the tank? It's been so long since I had guppies!

Guppies drop all of their fry over a short time that is measured in hours, not days. If the female has aborted her fry, with few survivors, you will need to wait until she can develop the next drop.

Thanks for responding :) So do you think we can put her back in with the other fish? or should we leave her in the breeding tank?
