Guppy and platy together

Will guppy and platy live together happily The guppy seems happy in a comunity tank but how about platy all together with my other fish *see below*
I'm also planning to isolate them for a while so will they be ok together or am i looking at major carnage ? .. I know Mollies can be a little aggressive.
Just wondering before my trip to LFS tomorrow

comunity fish are not aggressive and platties and guppies are gonna be fine together but there are exeption to the rules.

I've kept mollies and guppies together many times before, never with any bad results. In fact, I once had a tiny red male guppy who was constantly trying to chase around my huge, 3 inch male sailfin molly, who never even seemed to realize he was there. Considering that I had no female guppies in the tank, the one male guppy I had might not, in fact, have been territorial guppies seem to be just a touch near-sighted at times... it's happened to me before .
Anyway, I don't think you should have any problems with a guppy/molly combination; they're both peaceful fish, and good for the community aquarium.
