Guppy And Platy Still Hasnt Given Birth?!

ok so i have 2 guppys and one platy. the platy got pregnant first then the guppies. well one of the guppies gave birth almost 2 weeks ago and the others havent yet. i can the black spots in their bellys and they look like theyre gonna blow but they havent given birth. can anybody tell me why?

i think it can take up to 30 days for them to drop but im not sure

You can expect a drop of guppies or platies to take about 4 weeks from the beginning. I must say that I have given up trying to guess when a drop will happen by using the color of the gravid spot. There are just too many things that affect that or the simple size of a fish's belly. Instead, these days, I use the shape of the female's belly. If it has not yet taken on a squarish look to it, she is not closer than maybe a week.

well they are both very fat, like theyre about to blow
