Guppy Advice

I was wondering if I did the right thing by putting my guppy into a breeding box at this stage. She looks huge and her gravid spot is very dark and large but what do you think? too early?

I got her from the store about 3 weeks ago and there's males around so im not sure when she got pregnant.

i personally don't think she is ready yet, she hasn't squared off yet and is still very active, i have found they will become sluggish/unactive when the time comes, as for the squaring off, look HERE its a platy but the same occurs with guppies.

I'd say she's got about 1-2 weeks left until giving birth.

thats an interesting insight seeing as the photo is a month old.
