Guppies

lets get this convo started... are they really mad breeders? cause i want to get some but should i only get like 2males and 2females and let them get cosey. and hopefully see the fry.

Yes they are mad breeders :lol:

. You want to go x1 male x2 female ratio I belive. Or the males will kill the females off with harrasment

Do you recomend any other fish to keep with them?

Any comminuty fish are ok with Guppys.

Some are - Molly, Platty, Sword Tail, Neon/Cardinal Tetra, Harlequin Rosebarbs... list goes on :lol:

+1, keep at least two female per male, when keeping under 15-20 guppies (the ratio is not quite as important in larger numbers).

Like most livebearers, guppies do best in hard water, so appropriate tank mates are rasboras, snails, some shrimp..

Thanx! i have 2 ghost shrimp they are very fast!

What size tank would you recomend for 6 neon fish 5 rummynose 2 shrimp 2 glass catfish and 1 male guppy and 2 females?
