Hello Guys....well I fell into the trap. I bought 1 male guppie and three females to keep him company!

Here are the best pics I could get.

What variation are they? are they leopards?

This is the tail of the male...Little blighter was too fast for me!!

and a female....

Hope the pictures work...

There is many diffrent type of guppies due to crossbreeding etc that they dont really have a specific name, there just guppies

Well he's a lace by the patterning, looks a little to fine to be a snake skin.
But the females are impossible. but looks to be a good mix though.

Will be intresting to see what the fry look like.

But their more commonly seen in red and blue

I was just wondering...obviously bit of a mixed breed then!

They were the prettiest ones that were in the shop and I could not resist  .. the male is so colourful and he really shows himself off to maximum effect!

Mystil, if you are enjoying the guppies, then you have exactly the right ones. People worry too much about the named varieties of most fish. The breeders are trying hard to make new color patterns that people will like but unless you are going into the fish breeding business, the best fish is the one you enjoy.

I lost my male guppy :-( He started to act really wierd last night...could not seem to swim in a straight line and was doing circles really quickly....Left him over night thinking I would have to do something in the morning and my shrimp had completely eaten him by morning

felt sick....no idea what happened. My females seem fine, no problems. I am going to have words at the place I bought him.

They tend to weak coz they farmed to hot and over feed, to get the growth on them more than inbreeding.
Inbreeding is not a problem as long as you done breed from runts etc etc
