hi
is the temp going to be roughly the same as your tank water,?
if so they shold be ok. will they have a filter?

no there is no heater or filtration. just room temperature. it is ussually most of the time cool.
at the moment i have a sick fish (which most likley will go into this container\hermit crab inclosure), a pregnant female and 5 fry (the rest couldnt be saved from the horrible swordtails) :X
im going to buy another breeding trap tomorrow to put the female in. (the fry are in the other one which is in the big tank which has my community in it.

also another question: will finley crushed flake food do as a food source for the fry??
i havnt got anything else to give them...... if not what can i feed them and how do i prepare it??

sorry for all the questions.

If it's stable, you could/should be ok.. just give them some time to get used to the new water temperature.

stable in what way??
i dont fully understand.. please explain.

hi
crush your flake ln to a fine powder, thats what i feed mine 3-4 times a day,
can you gat a reading of the temp of the tank you need to use for the fry?
i think by stable ,vancouver meant is the temp in the tank for the fry a steady temp day and night. :)

mum has agreed to get a 2ft tank in a lil while for the breeding part of it. but that is still a while off.
