Guppies V Fancy Guppies

Fancy guppies have brilliant colors, while regular guppies are mostly gray and are sometimes used as feeder fish.

Fancy guppies are the result of years of selective breeding of the not so colourful normal guppies to develop a particilar "fancy" colour/strain.

Sorry, I've never heard of PetsAtHome, but all of my LFS carry a lot of fancy guppies and only a few regular ones, if at all.

pets@home usally have fancy guppies in well everytime im there they do !

but i will not buy again from there... i bought a few and they all died and took some of my other fish with them ! :(

P&H usually have fancy guppies in a lot of different colours.
Not all P&H stores are bad, I've bought fish from them & never had a problem

The only guppies that I ever see in a pet shop these days is "fancy" guppies. I have not seen a wild type guppy in a pet shop since I kept fish back in the 1960s. P. reticulata, the true wild guppy, is never seen in any LFS that I am aware of.
