hope someone can help! I've got 3 male guppies in my tank, with 5 neon tetras. I've only got two plants in my tank due to the size. All 3 guppies swim up to the plant, then almost throw themselves at the leaves and rub against it. Any idea's whats causing this? Is it a sign for the start of white spot or something. Theres no sign of redness of the gills, very active fish, eating well.

Water stats:
Ph 7.6
Ammonia 0.25ppm
No2 0ppm
No3 5ppm

Flashing like that usually means some kind of skin irritation. The ammonia may well be the reason for it. While doing a fish-in cycle like you are, you need to do water changes to try to keep that ammonia at well under the 0.25 ppm level if you can.
