Guppies Pregnant?

Today i bought 4 guppies from lfs, i think that both my females are pregnant. Never had guppies before had platy and molly births so just to clarify are they both pregnant?

If they've been with males, which they probably have, then yes they will be pregnant.
Judging from the pics they are very early on, so will be a few weeks before they drop

From your photo's their not pregnant, or if they are their not very far gone. they will get much fatter once their pregnant fully.

I know they get boxed shaped when ready, i didn't say they were ready just whether they were pregnant in early stages.

they don't look pregnant to me but they could be in the early stages. Both my females have the black gravid spot all the time so I no longer use that as a guide. One of my females had an extreemly large drop this morning but she's still got her gravid spot.

If they continue to swell though then you can say they are pregnant. One thing I've learnt today is the guppies don't seem to square off as obviously as platies do. I thought my female had a tumor but it turned out to be lots and lots of babies
