Is this a big nono? My tap water seems to be very soft, and is also on the more acidic type.
When i say acidic i mean like pf 6.5 and lower, as for the Hardness, it is very low. I have some ocean rock which seems to of brought both up a bit, but not much.
Anyone have them in softwater?

living in devon in the UK we have very soft water , and my ph is 7-7.2
guppys thrived in my water
as long as you purchase them from a lfs they should have the same water stats as you , or you could ask them what they are

i cant see any worries keeping them in that water

my guppies are in PH6 and guppies are very adaptable somebody once kept them in high end marine SG 1.029 which is high and they were perfectly healthy

Thanks for your replies. Me and mrs saw some very nice wagtail guppies earlier on, and have been considering them since! :)
Cheers!
