Ok i'm planning on getting a little 10 gallon tank and making a nice planted tank with just male guppies in it because I love the look of a nice planted tank with lots off colour moving through it and guppies have always been my favourite colourful fish. The other reason I just want guppies is because I want heaps of little guys swimming round (when I say heaps I mean as many as I can fit).

So how many guppies would I be able to put in the 10 gallon if it's nicely planted without overstocking it?

You would only get away with about 5-6 in a 10G tank, 7-8 with plenty of filtration and lots of hiding places.
You may find with only having male Guppies, that they will end up nipping each other which is why it's best to have plenty of plants so they can escape each other.

Yeah I knew they fight thats why I am having it well planted.

5 minimum, if heavily planted you could get away with 7/8 IMO, also try get them at the same time so theres little aggression :good:
