Was just wondering if guppies can be kept with about 10 zebra danios in a 55 gallon heavily planted tank with say swordtails and cories too? Will the danios find their tails tempting? They're crazy little boogers. :hyper: :fun: :hyper:

We have 6 Zebra Danios in with 3 Red Robin Gouramis and 2 Paradise fish and they all get on fine, the danios are quite happy swimming round the top and playing in the water flow.

Didn't make much sense did it! - what I meant was Paradise Fish and gouramis have lovley flowing tails and the Danios leave them alone!.

It might work, but I'd watch them closely. Zebra Danios can be fin nippers...and Guppies have lots of fins!
Since it's a heavily planted tank, the Danios may leave the Guppies alone...but you never know. My advice would be: Just watch them for a while if you put the Guppies in. :)

Just be sure it is the danios though because if you dont have enough (or any) female guppies the males will nip at each others tales
