Guppie Has Lost Its Tail..!

HELLO ...

PLEASE COULD SOMEONE HELP.. I HAVE HAD GUPPIES IN MY TANK FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW AND THEY ARE DOING VERY WELL... I INTRODUCED A 2ND FEMALE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND SHE WAS FINE.. BUT TODAY I NOTICED HER SITTING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK AND HER TAIL HAS NARROWED TO A POINT.. AND SHE LOOKS DISTRESSED... I HAVE SEPARATED HER FROM THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY AND ADDED 'MELAFIX' HOPING THIS MAY HELP...

ANYONE WITH ANY IDEAS ON THIS PLEASE.. SHES A BEAUTIFUL FISH AND I'D HATE TO LOSE HER..

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.
Once livebeares lose half of the tail they don't make it, is she struggling to swim.
Does she look bloated.
Livebearers when resting on the bottom of the tank for long periods bad news.

ALL FINE IN THE TANK POPULATION AND STATS WISE... THE OTHER TWO GUPPIES AND OTHER FISH ARE VERY WELL.. THIS GUPPY WAS FINE YESTERDAY TOO..

ITS LIKE SHE HAS NARROWED HER TAIL TO A POINT RATHER THAN LOST HALF IN LENGTH..

SHE IS NOT BLOATED, BUT IS NOT SWIMMING..

Finrot can be a secondary infection, meaning something else is going off.
I would issolate her if you can and try a bacterial med but she dosn't sound good, if you add the bacterial med will need to increase aeration.

Good luck.
Make sure your other fish are not doing long stringy white poo with having livebearers.

Internal parasties which guppys carry like camallanous worms, constipation, to bacterial infections.
