Guess What?

Some fishkeepers add methylene blue to stop the eggs getting fungus on them, as they need a constant flow of tank water over them

Congratulations on the eggs, I have no idea to raise them but im happy for you, and I hope they hatch fine and grow up healthy. ;)

wish i could give you some advice but the last 4 times mine have laid in the main tank they have been eaten.
:grr: :grr: :grr: so as yet i've never managed to raise any of the fry :-( :-( .
maybe you would be better asking in the catfish forum :D :D

My housemate's have just laid eggs two days ago. He bought a little net box that sits in the main tank, to stop them getting eaten. Got them off the glass with a rqzor blade.

He's got them in a well aerated area, with decent flow, and is expecting any hatching to happen in the next week/10 days, then god knows what he's going to do with them.

Feed them to my fish hopefully!

Omg...this might answer my question.... I have 3 bronze corys, and from the off, 2 of them were always together, nuzzling up, and playing, anyway, for the last couple of days, one of them is on the glass just behind my filter, and the other one, is by her side, could they be spawning eggs too? :hyper:

cory eggs usually hatch within 4/5 days.
claire just check all over your tank if they have spawned then you will see the eggs either on the glass heater filter box, they look like little white dots hth :D

Even if they had spawned, wont the other fish eat them? I have 6 zebra danios, and a dwarf gouriami in there with some guppies, but im sure the danios and gourami would eat the eggs.... :/ What do you think?

more than likely will get eaten in main tank, thats happened to mine everytime.
i've now got some new corys in another tank with some molly fry they not big enough to spawn yet so just gona leave them in there & when the molly fry move out they will have their very own spawn tank :hyper: :hyper: .

Wohooooooooo

I love my corys, they are soooooooooo cute  I also have 2 fry in my tank, i think they are guppy fry, i have them in a breeding net.... :D I hope they will be ok....
