Are you referring to the Live Chat that used to be at the top of the page next to Forums, What's New, Contests, etc?
If yes, they got rid of that a long time ago because it wasn't being used. New people would hop on it and ask questions but nobody looked at it so the questions never got answered.

True, it’s probably for the best they removed it. It used to be super active, so much that they had a moderator specifically dedicated for the chat.
Yes...chat has been removed due to very little use...admin cleaned up the look of the links at the top of the forum. PM is useful for brief conversataions.
