Hello. I have the master kit and I have been testing my tank recently since I redid it completely. Ammonia levels are at 0, nitrites 0, and nitrates 5.0mm. Checked my ph and I commonly get 7.6, rarely 7.2. Tried the high range and the color always produces a light brownish orange. It somewhat matches 7.4 or 7.6 but I honestly have no idea. Any help or suggestions? Thank.

what fish do you have? maybe it is in between 7.4 and 7.6.

If the normal pH tester shows the highest colour and the high range tester shows the lowest colour, the pH is in the overlap region. pH doesn't need to be precise, somewhere between 7.4 to 7.6 is close enough.

what is currently in the tank?

Mine looks similar and my OCD self goes nuts not knowing EXACTLY what my pH is. I call that 7.4 - 7.6.
