It's around 3-4 weeks at high temperatures.

All you have to do is wait. Don't get impatient. Just think about it this way, the longer the fry are in there, the bigger and stronger they'll be when they drop.

About ready to reach in there and pop her like a cherry tomato!! !! Actually I'm not too concerned with their survival of the fry...probably just end up being food for my other fish....i.e. baby snakeheads...just wonderin if she is ever gonna pop....seems like shes been with child forever!! If i raised temp and added a bit of salt to the water would that stimulate your to give birth?

i wouldnt say what your going to do with them once they are born....people take it really serious... so please dont say your gonna feed them to your snake!!! !!

Sheesh...are people really that closed minded? Personally i think its alot better than going to the store and buying guppies and rosies to feed to them. No disease, home raised. I don't see anything wrong with providing a food source for fish. I wasn't planning on her having babies to begin with. She just happens to be in the tank that i have the snakeheads in right now. So if she does give birth then I'm not gonna stress over it. Rather have the snakeheads eat them than her! When she was in there by herself she chased down all her own babies before i realized that they had been borne. To top it off the snakeheads are still really small...don't think they would be able to take on a baby molly...but if they could then that much more nutrition to them. Most people breed guppies just for the soul purpose of feeding them to fish. I, on the other hand, am not breedin mollies for the soul purpose of feeding them. Just happened out that she got prego when i got my snakeheads. Cheerio...PF
