Growth Rate Of Fry?

I'm not a real expert but I am familiar with mollies. I find that they can indeed grow very quickly right after they are first born, provided you keep up the water changes and good feedings. Mine are about 3 weeks old now and I really don't push them hard for rapid growth. They are about 2 cm right now. My 6 months old juveniles look about the size of the stock at a fish shop or a bit bigger. They are not fully filled out yet but are a fairly nice size.

k, ty

ive had them for 3days and am sure they have grown. i have tested their water every day and done a 20% water change every day regardless the results. i also feed them twice a day. they seem to be active and have seperate shoals. some stay rite up at the top, literally with thier heads at the surface! some just swim around and some are just hovering in the water. sound healthy?

It sounds normal to me Sami. If the room lights are still on for a while after the tank light goes off, I find they all gather somewhere in the tank in a fairly tight little group to sleep.

i found that my stronger bigger babies stayed at the top, and the smaller ones stayed near the bottom, and lay down more

ty every1,

well i think you are rite, the ones at the ones at the top gget first bids at feeding time! the rest are eating ad healthy just a bit more explorative and plaful in the tank! i think they may all pull through. None dead and the start of day 4 :D

nearly end of day4, all babies alive, hungary, and 1cm in length!
