Hi all
Just wondering if someone could explain the reason for excessive growth on my artificial plants.
Tank is an established tank. Water parameters: Nitrite 0, Ammonia 0, pH 7 and Nitrate 40. Lights are only on for 7 hours in every 24 hour period to prevent too much algae accumulation.
All artificial plants were replaced only 4 weeks ago and already most have accumulated a grey, furry growth mainly on the leaves at the top of the tank.
What is this and is there any way of preventing it?
