I am thinking of putting this guy into a competition through the Calgary Aquarium Society when it comes up next, what do you guys think? Sorry for the quality, the lighting on the tank is terrible and I had to turn the ISO up so it resulted in really grainy looking pictures. Better pictures will come when I set up the 90 gallon which I got ordered today.

And this is one more I am growing out, I love the colors on this guy.

Wow love the last guy and thats cool only other person i've seen on here from alberta!

Lovely fish enter him and The best of luck to you!! :good:

Thanks. I know with the first guy the color hasn't fully come in yet, but he has really good shape, when he is stretched out fully he almost looks like the bull dog strain of Discus!

It is cool to see another person from Alberta too! I have talked to only a handful of members that are from Alberta.

lovely!! :good: if its next year, you have plenty of time to let them grow a little and condition them thoroughly.
competition fish get alot of money spent on them via food and the conditions they're kept in btw lol but they are pretty good lookin fish  all the best mate

Thanks pink. Well, I stick to my water changes and my feeding routine pretty thoroughly. I am thinking of finding some way to rig a drip system. It will just be a Calgary competition whenever it comes up next, not even sure when :S Last competition they didn't even have any Discus in it! Only Angels, Guppies, Bettas and a few other fish.
