growout tanks

how old are your fry when you move them to a growout tank mine are about 2and a half to 3 weks old are they old enough also alot of my fry are sittingh on the bottum they're not dead because when i tape the glass the scatter tere are probly 20 up and running around could this be swim bladder infection or what

p.s. i've been feeding them bbs and microwms for the last two weeks

i would appreciate any advice

abit early for the grow out tank yet. Ours are six weeks old and most of them are not ready for the grow out tank.

As for the ones sitting on the bottom i wouldn't worry. They tend to eat so much they can't move. We have the same things going on with ours

I think that is a bit too early too. Wait until they seem big enough to explore and not get scared and scatter everytime you approach. You want their labrinyth organ to develop first. Usually after 4 weeks to 6 weeks for some depending on their growth rates.
