no, you just need to keep water quality high and a good diet. A 10 gal is fine for fry.

Of course when the fry get to like half inch or inch it would be wise to allow for more room.

mine are about 3/4 of an inch to maybe an inch after 5 months

sadly only 2 left 1 male and 1 female

Its actually worth keeping the water levels lower when they're as young as yours, as it makes it easier for the fry to find food - they won't have to move as far to find it.

According to an apisto breeder anyhow.
