Thought I'd say hello before I start bombarding you with fishy questions!!
I got my tank in December '06. 180 litres. It took a good four weeks to get my tank ready for fish - thanks to the snails that were hiding on the plants it started cycling all by itself!
So it is now home to 3 platies (had four but one died
) , about 5 fry - how they survived is amazing really, 12 glowlight danios and 2 gourami. I've probably seen all kinds of issues since starting ... snails, baby platies galore, dead platy, white spot, and recently some sort of fungus (I'm guessing). And it's only my third month in!
I'm hoping to get some corys and possibly might be persuaded to get some aquatic frogs - but I'm still not sure about that yet.
So anyway ... that is the little soap opera world in my house, I'm sure you could all tell stories based on the lives of your fish too
. I'll be somewhere in the forum every night trying to find answers to my many questions - so I guess I'll see you around.
