hi today we did a partial water change and used a pump to clean the gravel we filled the tank back up as normal and went out we have come home and the water is very cloudy and green! help? what do we do? and why is it like this

Green water is a simple single celled algae. It grows floating around in the water. Without lots of light and some nitrogen it will die out on its own. In the meantime, it is not harmful to your fish.

I cant see the water going green from algae with in a few hours.
Not unless you have very strong lighting or lots of sunlight.

I'm guessing its from cleaning the gravel, did u get much wast out?
and what filtration do you have?
