Green Water

ive added green away 2 make it clear and it works then after a few days/ week the water starts 2 turn green again ive cleaned the filter in the dirty water that was out the tank an done water changers and its still doing the same any ideas ???

How big is your tank and how much/often do you do wc's?

Try doing 10%-15% daily wc's until it's gone.

There are 3 possible reasons for this...overfeeding, not cleaning filters or wc's enough and too much lighting.

ive been keeping the light off an just putting it on for a few hours at nite w,c once a week dont feed them much just what they can eat in a min or so

Is it near a window?

How much water do you exchange with your wc's?

Those are the only 3 reasons that I know of that cause green water.

its not near the window an i take about 8 inches of water off the top about ( 20 litres )
