I have had some brilliant advice concerning my green terrors (Cheers Davo), but i feel a tad guilty for pesturing the same person for information all the time, and google, doesnt turn up the answers i would like to know..

So im turning to all you guys!

what type of food can i feed them? i mean stuff availble in the house and garden? not that im fussed about buying proper stuff! but with the credit crunch and all, id like other options!

any advice tips or help regarding anything to do with green terrors would be amazing, like, what they can be housed with right down to your experiences with tempretures and all sorts!

ADVICE WANTED haha

thanks guys!

Feeding them you can feed house fly's/spider's/woodlice/garden worm's.........Best bet would be go somewhere like ebay and buy in bulk, that's what i do :good:
My golden saum is housed with chocolate cichlid/oscar's/polleni/tinfoil barbs/plec/silver sharks/senegal birchir.....
Temp is 26c.....

As with all cichlid's, you may choose the tank mate's but they decide wether or not they want to be nice to the other's or not :good:

Tankmates depends largely on tank size and individual temperament of the fish.

Probably their favourite treat would be earthworms, just be careful about where you get them from eg. pesticide useage.

I havn't had any personal experience with GT's, but up until 6-7" they are said to be placid and people think 'oh, its not so bad' then the GT's mature and live up to the 'terror' part of their name.
