Green Terror

Anybody else keep a green terror?
Mine is 7 inches long and hides all the time

Theres a reason for this...

What tank mates are in with him?

how long have you had him?

could even be down to water conditions?

do you have any young children that could bang the glass?

50% water change a week
two eheim externals and one internal
tank mates are 3 firemouths each half his/her size
My 5 year old watches him but he's the only one he dos'nt hide from
Got him about a week ago

He's probably still settling in, if you only got him one week ago. Did you get the FM at the same time? If they were already in the tank then its likely a pecking order was already in place and the GT feels like the 'new guy' (until he realises he's more aggressive and tougher than the FM's - then you might have trouble depending on the tank size). Which leads onto the next question size of tank?
