You guys wont believe this. I had some Guys working on the outside of my house fixing some T-111 sideing. These wankers put a hole in my bath room wall all the way from the outside through the drywall with a WormDrive  . I could tell my GT Turbo wansnt enjoying the noise from the workers do to the color change on his body. After I was done yelling at the incompatent workers, their boss had to come in and look at the damage. When this big Mexican fellow came in my room (Note Turbo see's me and the old Ladie come in and out all the time and we pay loads of attention to him.) Turbo Flipped! From what I saw i Think turbo tried to attack the guy, Once the guy started talking My GT came from one side of the tank and ramed the other where the guy was standing. After this he tried to jump through the hood for a good 30 sec to a min. The construction worker almost wet his pajamas from a 4" fish :hyper: Although it might be wrong to say I was quite amazed and curiouse, even though I was worried about the stress to my fish. I let My GT calm down and the workers came back the next day. He seemed a 100% fine with having workers in the room, so i thought. The Fourman (boss) Came back to inpect the work and turbo did the same thing. He fliped out when this one person came in my room.
I came to the conclusion that it must be the tone of his voice. what else could it be? I have never seen a fish act like this befor. Has anybody seen this beavior befor? I thought you guys would enjoy this story becouse its beyond me. Iv never seen a fish act like a dog.

That's funny.

Cichlids can distinguish people and know who is normal or not.

I've had cichlids that only liked me and would do that to anyone else. Even had one that only liked me but only when I wore my blue shirt. Any other time he'd go hide on me or anyone else. If I immediately went and put my blue shirt on (it's a work shirt so I had it on everyday when I came home) he'd come right up to me.

I've also had fish that hated kids or my dog. Probably more or less anytihng with eyes at "his" level. Would go berserk trying to get to them.

Sorry about your wall tho!!!

You've got to love the personality of these fish! I have one that flares at anyone and everyone that walks near his tank. He's pretty awesome to watch. And others like to 'dance' at the front of the tank almost like they are begging for attention or food. I love GT's. Almost makes me wish I was still breeding them.
