I came across this video on youTube and have a few questions about it.

What is the green stuff everywhere?

Does it grow and take over?

If a tank is set up like this what would be the process for gravel vac and ground maint?

Alot of it looked like ricca, but there were some other plants that looked simialr to the "four leaf clover plant" cant remember the name exactly but i do beleive that if in sufficient growing conditions it will take over.

The ricca looking plant can be hard to keep, i have had no luck with ricca, i do however have a tank that has been taken over by valli spirals, a dwarf variation, they had covered the bottomof the tank and are about an inch and half tall, a bright green carpet.

sorry i didnt have more luck identifying those plants.

I search google images on valli spirals and returned not one picture of a plant. Is that spelled correctly? I would LOVE to set up a tank with everything covered in this brilliant green plant life. Do i need special substrate, sterilizer things, CO2 and special filters to do so?

High light co2 and ferts should do it. IT wil be Very messy business so be prepared

The front stuff is Glossostigma elatinoides which tends to prefer high light. IN low light it gets very tall and leggy.

There was also some riccia in there too.
